NEW ITEMS at Southern Spirits!!
We love getting you new and exciting things to try! In the liquor department, we have brought some amazing new items in!
This just in from manager, Keith Haze!!
Don Abraham Tequila: This is another awesome Tequila that I have brought in for my ever growing Tequila crowd. These are extremely well made, full of personality Tequila’s that have a truly distinct flavor. While not overly aromatic they make up for it with a big fully body.
Herencia Blanco: This is my second favorite silver! While it is not as clean and smooth as the Peligroso it has a creamy mouth feel that separates it from the pack.
A.D. Rattay Cask Islay: Hey smokey peaty fans here is a cannot miss whiskey for you guys. A.D. Rattay was the first independent bottler and I have managed to snag some for you guys. I hope that more will be coming soon!!
Kilkerran Work In Progress: The fine folks at Springbank have decided to reopen the Glengyle distillery in this is what is being made there. In 2016 they will have their own label but until then it is a “Work in Progress” We have one aged in a Bourbon Cask and another aged in a Sherry Cask. This won Whiskey Advocates Single Malt of the Year in 2013. Only 9,000 total bottles in the entire world and we got some!
Longrow Peated: Another reclamation project from the fine folks at Springbank, this is a smoky, peaty, and fruity single malt in the Caol Ila mold! I personally am super stoked about this scotch.
Hazelburn 12yr: This is an un-peated Sherry Cask. Big and rich, with a long spicy finish. This is a scotch I have been very much looking forward to!
Meletti Amaro: People have told me that I do not have enough Amaro, so here is another one and it is quite tasty! What is an Amaro? Well it is a bitter Italian liqueur that can be used as a sweet vermouth substitute or drunk on its own by crazy people.
Bertina Elderflower: Okay, even more people ask me for St. Germain substitutes and here is an awesome one. It is lighter and smoother than its more famous counter part and it is from Finland where the Elderflower liqueur originated.
Cragganmore fans! See me about two special bottles.
Banknote revisted: If you still have not checked out Banknote Blended Scotch then you need to do so. This is the ultimate Tuesday night whiskey.
