New stuff for this week! (Commentary provided by the one and only Keith Haze!)
HIGH WIRE: These guys are local, out of Charleston, SC. Small batch, rum, vodka, and gin.
HIGH WEST: A MIDWINTER NIGHTS DRAM. This is an outstanding blend of rye whiskeys finished in both French Oak and Port Barrels. I found it to be smooth, full flavored, and long! Lots of lovely cherry going on here. Limited release.
STRANAHANS!!!! Some of you may remember this amazing whiskey from Colorado. This is the original whiskey made from the guy who does Tin Cup (very tasty if you have not tried it). It was restricted t Colorado only for 6 years because they could not make enough. I managed to snag 6 bottles, and I do not expect them to remain in the store.
GERMAIN-ROBIN’S OLD HAVANA! It is back as well. One of the best brandies I have ever consumed by one of the greatest distillers in the world. It was one year ago today when I first tried it, and I was simply blown away!
NEW BEER!: Summer has done it again and added Boulevard! This is an excellent brewery out of Kansas City, that got a lot of attention two years ago by having a beer of theirs chosen as the beer of the year by Wine Spectator. Well they are here and ready for you to decide for yourself!
