This year marks the 21st anniversary of The Queens Cup! This event is unlike any other in the Charlotte region and will be held on Saturday, April 30th beginning at 10AM. The morning will be filled with terrier races and pony rides with the opening ceremonies commencing at 11:45AM. There will be a hat contest and a tailgate contest as well as horse races running from 1:30PM to 4:00PM. Refreshing Rosé Cooler
A couple of strawberries, thinly sliced
1 1/2 ounces of gin
1 3/4 ounces rosé wine
3/4 ounces strawberry syrup
1/2 ounces lemon juice
1/2 ounces Pimm’s No. 1
Combine gin, wine, syrup, lemon juice and Pimm’s No. 1 in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass filled with ice, garnish with strawberries.
