Super Bowl Booze News and Cocktail Recipe!
FRIDAY WINE 4:00-6:00
HALL SAUVIGNON BLANC: A benchmark SB from Napa. Napa is not so famous for this grape but there are wineries that do it very well and this is one of them.
TRUE MYTH CABERNET: How can you drink a Justin cabernet for under twenty bucks? Buy this one! Sourced from the awesome Justin vineyards in Paso Robles, this is a great bang for your buck Paso cabernet.
RIGHT HAND MAN SYRAH: Another Paso Robles red hooray! Paso Robles is the region of California that consistently produces drinkable and affordable wines.
JCB: This fantastic sparkling rose from Burgundy is perfect for brunch, celebrations, or just wanting to remember why you woke up in the morning!

KEITH’S CABINET: What Keith is drinking now
SIX POINT RESIN: While everyone was going nuts for Hopslam, I was buying this awesome beer! Big, bad, and beautiful! It is a triple IPA, and I may very well put it in my Super Bowl collection.
EL DORADO 5: This has officially become my house rum. It makes a fantastic Dark and Stormy and a wonderful Cuba Libre!
EL DORADO 12: I love this rum so very much! I keep the bottle next to my bed, because just gazing longingly at it makes me smile. Even just the idea that some of it might find its way into my glass is enough to make smile.
HIGH WEST SINGLE BARREL DOUBLE RYE: I thought this bottle had been destroyed during the world series, but I had saved a full pour! Such an excellent bottle.
HINE VSOP: I have really been enjoying this bottle. I think I appreciate it much more now, than when I first tried it years ago. I have a lot more brandies under my belt and can appreciate how subtle and sophisticated it is.
REDEMPTION BOURBON: A well made bourbon at an excellent price! This was one of my go to bourbons back in California, but sadly, it was never available to me until now. I am really happy to have it on the shelf.
REDEMPTION HIGH RYE BOURBON: While the regular bourbon is a good value, this baby is a steal! I am just super impressed by all aspects of this spirit. It is engaging, complex, and best of all it doesn’t break the bank. I can’t wait to play around with it.
BRAULIO AMARO: This is another super famous Amaro that was really missing from my set, and I happy to announce it has arrived. There is a strong mint factor here that sets it apart from the others. Bitter and wonderful, it is the perfect after dinner drink.
BAILEY’S ALMONDE: That is right, Bailey’s has made an almond milk cream. As the great George Carlin once said “could be meat, could be cake.”
CAPTAIN MORGAN LOCO NUT: All of my cashiers instantly fell in love with this coconut cream. They drank it straight at room temperature, but I am sure on the rocks or mixed with pineapple vodka, it will be even better.
BLUE CHAIR BAY KEY LIME CREAM: What a great idea, even though Keke Beach did it years ago.
