TASTINGS

FRIDAY WINE 4:00-6:00

RIEBEEK CELLARS CHARDONNAY: Another visit to South Africa, for some inexpensive well made wine.

OLIVIER LEFLAIVE BOURGONE: One of my favorite white wines in the store! It is rare to find a white burgundy for this price!

TERRE BRULEE: Back to South Africa for a Syrah and Cinsault blend.

GERARD BERTRAND CORBIERES: A Grenache/syrah/mourvedre blend that is a new arrival to our store.

SATURDAY BARENJAGER AND KLEINER FEIGLING 2:00-5:00

BARENJAGER is the original honey liqueur! Hundreds of years before any of the Jack Honey etc these guys were making this delicious stuff.

BARENJAGER HONEY BOURBON: When the folks at Barenjager saw that everyone was stealing their thunder they decided to join in the fun and add bourbon to their original honey liqueur.

KLEINER FEIGLING is the German fig flavored vodka that is a long standing tradition to consume with friends in shot form.

KEITH’S CABINET: WHAT KEITH IS DRINKING NOW

REDEMPTION HIGH RYE BOURBON: I have enjoyed this bourbon every which I can think of at this point, and it works!

LOW GAP WHISKEY: It has been a very long time since I drank this whiskey and I was quite happy with my revisit. It has a unique taste profile and I enjoy the uniqueness of it quite a bit.

DE LORD 1991: I had bought one of these but then was also given one as a gift. (I know, it is a hard life.) I love this brandy!

EL TESORO PARADISO: I finally opened my Christmas present and it just as amazing as I remembered. Tequila aged in Cognac barrels, what more could you ask for? Nothing else like it.

NEW ARRIVALS

1776 BOURBON: It is back! I am happy to have this excellent bourbon back in the store finally!!

VIZCAYA BLACK: You know how Zaya ruined itself by putting out a much younger rum that doesn’t taste anything like the original 12? Well now we have Vizcaya black which is an absolutely wonderful rum that will happily take its place for only a couple of bucks more.

JEFFERSONS CASK STRENGTH OCEAN: It has been two years since we have had this big beast, but we just got a case.
