Founded by two native Californians, Ross Stewart and Evan Weinberg, Cismontane Brewing Company is dedicated to making great beers that reflect the unique culture and natural phenomena of southern California. Cismontane has two tasting rooms, one in Rancho Santa Margarita and the other in Santa Ana. The name Cismontane was chosen because of the geographical region that it represents of coastal southern California. Each beer is named after a local feature that is unique to the southern California area.
