Ring in the New Year With the Best Beer, Wine and Spirits!
TASTINGS: FRIDAY WINE 4:00-6:00
FERRARI CARANO CHARDONNAY: A limited production bottle from a well known winery. Russian river valley is a great area for Chardonnay.
DAOU CABERNET: I love Paso Robles as a wine region. You get fun and racy wines for affordable prices.
SEGURA ROSE: That is right our number one selling wine also comes in a Rose. People should drink more Rose, but people should definitely drink more sparkling Rose.
CARACCIOLI BRUT 2009: This is a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sparkler from the former winemaker at Roederer! Small batch, aged for four years before bottling. We do make good bubbly here in the U.S. as well.
KEITH’S CABINET: What Keith is drinking now
JEFFERSON’S! I am really proud of my barrel selections on these Jefferson’s bottles. Last night I was sipping on the small batch and thinking, someone should pay me a lot of money to taste whiskey and give them a thumbs up or a thumbs down. (would also do this for a not a lot of money.)
GREEN MAN EVERYTHING: This is an outstanding brewery and I have been quite happy with all of their lineup.
KUROSAWA SAKE RESERVA: I decided to treat myself to the most expensive Sake in the store and it is AMAZING! One of my favorite things about booze, is that if you know what you are doing, when you splurge, you get to drink like a King!
VIRGIL KAINE HIGH RYE BOURBON: I got to revisit this bottle since it was a gift. I remain a big fan!
DOMAINE EDEN CABERNET: I consider Mount Eden to be one of the best wineries on the planet, and have enjoyed every single bottle of wine from them I have ever consumed. It sits on a gorgeous Mountain and is run by a lovely couple, they make wine with great care and it shows.
NEW ARRIVALS
That is right, we now carry the amazing Woodford reserve Cherries. These beauties will take your manhattan to a whole new level! Not only will they make your drink better, eating the cherry at the end is one of the best things ever in life!
WOODFORD BITTERS: Woodford has a collection of fun and well made bitters that can liven up any drink.
KIR ROYALE
I am always amazed at how few people have tried this spectacular cocktail. It is so simple and tasty. I still remember the first time I tried it. I was at a poker party in Los Angeles and I was brought this lovely drink and immediately wanted to know what it was. It was explained to me and I have been drinking them ever since!
Splash of cassis in the bottom of your flute. Fill the flute with sparkling wine. Enjoy!
Do you need the best bubbly in the world? No. Does it make it tastier if you use a better bubbly? Yes!
*** You can use St. George Raspberry or Chambord as a an alternative to the Cassis.
