TASTING WINE FRIDAY 4-6
PAUL BOUCHARD BOURGOGNE: There are not many things better in life than white burgundy. When done well you could swear that you were transported to some kind of wine heaven. This is an entry level version but will still give you an inkling of an idea of what the region has to offer.
THE SUPERNATURAL SAUVIGNON BLANC: This New Zealand SB comes from Hawkes Bay, the less famous but just as good wine region in New Zealand. Sauvignon blanc drinks well all year long!
M & W QUINTOS DE LA TEJERA: Spain is one of the best at producing affordable reds. This is a tempranillo and syrah blend.
MOLLYDOOKER: TWO LEFT FEET– This a huge fruit bomb, from the land of the huge fruit bombs! Shiraz, Cab, and Merlot make up this fruity feast.

FORTALEZA REPOSADO: Yes we sold out two weeks in a row, and I apologize for that. I ordered even more this week, so I can stop disappointing all of you poor folks who didn’t get a bottle while I sit at home and happily drink this amazing tequila. Bad Keith bad!!
AMARO MONTENEGRO: I have been using this instead of Fernet with excellent results.
DE LORD XO: This continues to be one of the best buys in the world of Brandy.
RON ABUELO COGNAC CASK FINISH: This amazing rum stays right on my night stand because even just looking at it makes me happy!
OSKAR BLUE TEN FIDDY: This big, rich, and powerful stout has it going on. It is like a three course meal of goodness! Pairs very well with Glenrothes Sherry Cask.
AVERY’S HAIL TO THE CHIEF: This brewery is consistently great and this time they made an exceptional beer.
OLDE HICKORY EVENT HORIZON: My love affair with Olde Hickory has not diminished one bit! In fact it grows and burns like a young Sun!

Old Forester 1920: Instead of crying about the Birthday bourbon come and grab an even better bourbon! I am super excited about this and my most trusted critic absolutely loved it.
TRIPLE CROWN: This easy drinking American whiskey was requested by a customer.
HUDSON MANHATTAN RYE: I brought this excellent rye from New York back because it is quite tasty and deserves a spot on the shelf.
THERIOT CREME DE CASIS: This will make the best Kir Royal ever, because it is quite simply the best Casis I have ever tasted. It is so good that you could easily drink it straight.
DELORD 1975: Our latest shipment of Delord has arrived! How about some forty year old brandy that tastes just as amazing as it sounds.
DELORD 1981: This one is actually the distillers favorite, and it was the first to sell out last year!
GLENROTHES ALBA RESERVE IS NOW GLENROTHES BOURBON CASK RESERVE. THE ALBA REFERS TO THE TYPE OF OAK THAT WAS USED IN THE BOURBON.
SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK: CAST IRON WAFFLES!
They have great coffee and the waffles are amazing. You can get top shelf coffee and a sweet and savory waffle and make sure that at least the start of your day is wonderful.
RECIPE OF THE WEEK
MANHATTAN WITH AMARO
2 ounces of Bourbon or Rye (Old Medley, Old Grandad 114, Woodford, Virgil Kaine Rye, High West Double Rye, James Oliver Rye)
.5 ounce of Montenegro Amaro\
3 drops of bitters (jack rudy, scrappy’s, regans orange)
Serve on the rocks or shake and strain with ice.
