Keith’s Picks for May!
Keith’s picks for May!
Greenhat Spring/Summer Gin: This lovely gin from Washington DC made a great gin and tonic and a great martini!
Speyburn Arranta: The hardest thing to do is to find affordable and tasty Scotch. Well that is what this is! A big and bold whisky that is fun to drink and has a lot to offer.
Greenore: This single grain Irish whiskey won me over a long time ago when I was just starting out. It remains a smooth and easy drinking sipper.
Chinaco Anejo: What I love about this Anejo is that really has a unique spiciness to it. It is incredibly well made and would always stand out among other tequilas.
Muddy River Coconut: The best coconut rum on the planet! This makes Malibu taste like dishwasher detergent! It is made right next door in Belmont, NC.
Quady Vya Whisper: This wonderful vermouth comes from California, and it is the best martini vermouth in the wolrd!
Amaro Nonino: One of the most famous Amaro’s in Italy and for excellent reasons. This Amaro will blow you away by itself but will also do wonders in a cocktail.
Forty Creek Copper Pot: Just like the regular Forty Creek beats the regular Crown, the reserve beats the reserve. This victory is not just in taste but is also in price!
Van Gogh Wild Apel: Listen up Ciroc, you were late to this party! There is only one Apple vodka and it comes from the Netherlands not France!
South Bay Rum: Another awesome rum from the land of awesome rums, the Dominican Republic. Since the folks at Zaya have decided to stop bottling 12year old rum AND have decided to try and trick people about it, I found this wonderful substitute.
