Keith’s Picks
Keith’s picks for July!
Bluecoat Gin-This quickly became a favorite of mine. It plays well with others but can be consumed on its own. Good job Pennsylvannia!Henry Du Yore– This excellent bourbon-rye blend from Oregon is a pleasant challenge. A big bold bourbon with strong rye undertones guiding you to a spicy finish.Giffard Frais de boise– This is the strawberry you have been looking for! No more of that fake nonsense. This thing will greatly improve almost any drink!Chinaco Anejo – Most Anejo’s are mellow and smooth but this one is spicy and full bodied. It is not rough but it will engage you!Forty Creek Copper Pot – Take that crown black or crown reserve. This whiskey is both cheaper and better! Smile Canada you made a good one.Kurosawa Sake – This is a very well made dry sake. Best served cold! Very clean and crisp, I was very impressed with the quality level.Reyka – This is iceland’s best kept secret. As smooth as any vodka you will find and still cheaper than Grey goose!Fabrizia Blood Orange – Stop using triple sec in your margarita’s and cosmo’s all the time. Spice things up with this awesome orange liqueur.South Bay Rum – Another winner from the Dominican Republic! Smooth, complex, and fun. Perfectly balanced between the sweet and dry. Easy to drink but sad to finish.Laphroaig Triple Wood – This is Laphroaigs answer to Lagavulin and the best whisky they make. A winner from start to finish. It only comes out once a year so grab it while you can.
