Big News from Keith Haze
I have several philosophies and I believe them all quite strongly but one that I am reminded of time and time again is that “life is too short for bad booze” This was never meant to be a signal to drink hundred dollar stuff, but rather a demand that you pass on inferior or sometimes even disgusting booze. That you deserve to drink better. That your guests deserve to drink better. No one is talking about breaking the bank here, but here at Southern Spirits our specialty is finding the way to stretch your dollar to the fullest! Whenver I ask you to splurge on something you better believe that I think it is totally worth it.
TASTINGS: SATURDAY 3:30-6:30 KRUPNIKAS
This tasty little honey liqueur sold out in an hour last time we tasted it, so this time we have tripled the order! We always try to support little distilleries like these guys because it is good for the industry and they are nice folks.
TUESDAY MAY 12TH SAM MEDLEY IN PERSON 3:30-6:30
SATURDAY MAY 30TH BALVENIE 3:30-6:30
NEW ARRIVALS:
PINNACLE MIMOSA: Proving that they will never run out of flavors comes Mimosa flavor.
PINNACLE CUCUMBER: Fun to mix with the Fever Tree elderflower tonic.
PINNACLE HABANERO: Another spicy vodka!
THREE OLIVES BLUEBERRY: Not as good as Cold River but pretty tasty.
RETURNS!!!
KILCHOMAN MACHIR BAY: This delicious Scotch is finally back in stock. Smokey, Peaty, and Spicey, this Islay whisky is good enough to go toe to toe with anything from the region.
OLD MEDLEY 12: It is back but not for long! They say good things come to those who wait, but its my guess that the people that say that are hoping you believe them and stay home while they buy up the good stuff!!
KEITH’S CABINET: What Keith is drinking now.
I just got a nice blender for my birthday so there may soon be an avalanche of delicious blended drinks.
TORRES 10: Good enough to drink straight but absolutely perfect for any Brandy based cocktail.
High West American Prairie Reserve: Sooooooooo good! Man I love this whiskey and man I am sad that it will no longer be made. Enjoy it while you can!
CANA BRAVA: I never get tired of the best white rum in the world.
St. George Raspberry: Putting a splash of this into almost anything improves it. Last night I added it to my three olives cherry and lemonade combo taking it to the next level!
VAN GOGH CARAMEL: These little minis are lots of fun to play with. On Tuesday I took chocolate chip mint ice cream, pistachio liqueur, and van gogh caramel to make a ridiculous drink.
BALLAST POINT WAHOO WHEAT: Who else could make a wheat beer that wasn’t boring besides Ballast point? Perfect for this warm weather!
MUGA ROSE: A good Rose is dry but shows a subtle fruitiness and this one does that and more at an affordable price.
