Hey there booze fans! The Panthers pounced, and Denver should be very scared. I know they are feeling good because they beat the mighty Patriots but they are about to get pounded by an unstoppable force. When it is all said and done people will be ranking this team up there with the 89 Niners, 85 Bears, and 93 Cowboys as one of the top five teams of all time. If I am a Denver fan, I am hoping that at halftime the score is close enough that there is an amount of booze that allows me to think the game is still winnable! Still they get no respect! Truly amazing, how ignorant the media is on the quality of this team.
Sorry non sports fans. In booze news we are continuing our mission to carry all of the best booze in the world with great success. I have now knocked off another must have on my list! It is an amazing rum that you should stop by and ask me about. As I walk through the store I cannot help but I hope you all survived our little snow adventure. That was enough snow for me. TASTINGS: WINE 4-6
JEAN-MARC BROCARD CHABLIS: If you are like me, you have had your fill of buttery Chardonnays that taste like movie theater popcorn! France in my not very humble opinion, makes the best white wines in the world! Lean, crisp, refreshing, the kind of wine you can have in the afternoon with lunch and not worry.
FLEURIE BEAUJLOAIS: Forget about that once a year abomination that comes out in
November, this is the real wine from that region. Tired of Pinot Noir? Try this, for a change.
MORGON BEAUJOLAIS: Another district heard from! Part of the beauty of wine is its terroir. Take the same grape (gamay) in this case, and plant in different weather conditions and you get a different wine. See how many differences you can note.
CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE LES OLIVETS: Lonnnnnnnnnng before Orin Swift, France made big, full bodied reds so stop drinking the imitation and try the original.

TRIANON REPOSADO: My love for this has not diminished in the slightest! I am still calling this THE best Reposado.
GEORGE BOTANIVORE: I am trying to drink down my gin stash so I can buy the new gins that have arrived and man is this stuff awesome! I never get tired of it.
INNIS AND GUNN RUM CASK: Man do I love this beer.
SIERRA NEVADA NARWHAL: My favorite Imperial Stout. Top to bottom delicious.
KEENAN MERLOT: Not that many Merlot’s as good as this one! We once did this side by side with Twomey and it crushed it!
VIRGIL KAINE RYE: I made an Old Fashioned with this and it was outstanding!

GVINE FLORAISON: This is an extremely well made Gin from France. It has lovely citrus notes and is one of those gins that can used any way you like. I found the Martini to be smooth and tasty, and the gin and tonic to be incredibly refreshing.
CRAIGELLACHIE 13: Wow! Just wow! Price plus quality. I am not easily impressed, but this Scotch made me sit up and take notice. So very well balanced, but also quite complex, and with a long finish.
GREEN SPOT: The Irish “Van Winkle” is back! Smoothest whiskey in the store. One per customer thank you for understanding.

RECIPE OF THE WEEK:
“KEITHARINHA” : I made a small but important change in the Caipirinha recipe.
2 oz of Cachaca Ypioca, Pitu
1-2 Fresh limes
1 oz of Clement Orange Shrub
Put the booze in the glass and muddle the limes, tastes better if you let it sit for a while but can be served over ice right away if you just cannot wait!
