Ron Abuelo and Edradour Tasting!

Your friends at Southern Spirits will be holding a fantastic tasting on Saturday, September 19th from 3:30PM to 6:30PM. We are very excited to be featuring Ron Abuelo Rum and Edradour Scotch Whiskey and cannot wait to hear what you think of them!
Ron Abuelo traces its history back to the Republic of Panama’s first sugar mill which opened in 1908. The rum is richly aged in white oak barrels to enhance the flavor. Produced from the fermentation of the juice of thousands units of sugarcane, the distillery utilizes a cutting edge technology making tradition in its aging and production. Edradour Scotch Whiskey is handmade with rich flavors of fruitcake and a sweetness that emerges from Sherry wood and small Stills of the old farm distillery. Despite being such a small distillery, Edradour produces more whiskies than most other distilleries in the area. Owner since 2002, Andrew Symington has expertly used the spirit from their small stills which are matured in the highest quality oak wood to create a stunning and diverse range of single malts.
