4th of July is just around the corner and your friends at Southern Spirits want to help you celebrate with some patriotic cocktail recipes!

American Beauty

½ oz vodka
1 oz lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup
3 lemon wedges thinly sliced

Muddle lemon peels, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Add the vodka and ice. Shake and strain into a glass filled with ice cubes.

Patriotic Passion

2 oz white rum
1 oz simple syrup
¾ oz blue curacao
½ oz lime juice
½ oz lemon juice

Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Top with ice and shake vigorously, Strain into a Collins glass with fresh ice.

Strawberry Sparkler

6 oz silver tequila
2 oz strawberry liqueur
1 bottle rose champagne
4 oz limeade
1 pint strawberries
2 tbs sugar
1 wedged lime

Wash, stem, quarter and freeze strawberries for at least 1 hour. Place three frozen strawberries in the bottom of a champagne flute then add champagne. Combine tequila, limeade, and strawberry liqueur in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into flute. Serves 10.
