News About Booze from Keith, Your Liquor Mastermind
Hey booze fans, you guys are truly the best. The Medley tasting was a massive hit! Sam was blown away by both how many of you came and how knowledgeable you guys were. He said it was THE BEST tasting he had done. You guys proved once again that this is THE destination. I have to admit I was a tad nervous because it was a Tuesday but man did you all come through. I truly appreciate each and every one of you for coming out and making it and us such a big hit! I came in on my day off and would do it anytime to be part of something fun like that. I feel confident that he will make a return visit someday.
TASTINGS: FINLANDIA FRIDAY 3:30-6:30
These guys do a good job with both their regular and vodka flavors. Perfect for vodka tonics in this hot weather. Stop by and sing Finland, Finland, Finland, it’s a place where I’d quite like to be! Eating breakfast and shopping…
SATURDAY 12:00-3:00 MEUKOW COGNAC
Meukow Cognac, Meukow 90, and Meukow Vanilla. This Cognac named after its Russian inventors just won gold at the prestigious San Francisco Chronicle Spirits competition. Good bang for your buck Brandy.
NEW ARRIVALS:
PLYMOUTH SLOE GIN: Anything worth doing is worth doing twice. Last week I brought in the Hayman’s and now I finally got my hands on the Plymouth.
RON ATLANTICO: An award winning rum from the Dominican Republic. Grab this while you can supplies are limited! This fits right in with the Zaya, Zacapa, and the Abuelo. Yummy!
HAMILTON RUM: Another customer request. Apparently this stuff from Guyana is quite tasty and since we cannot get El Dorado!!! We got this.
BLUE CHAIR VANILLA: This is actually very smooth and easy to drink, even buy itself. Use it as a twist on a dark and stormy.
SANDRA LEE MARGARITA: Apparently this a famous cooking channel person, and she has made a “higher” quality pre-made margarita.
NIKKA COFFEY STILL GRAIN WHISKEY: This is not coffee flavored. Coffey is the type of still used to produce this Japanese whiskey. Grain whiskey has a bad reputation because it is rarely done well. This is an exception to that rule.
KEITH’S CABINET: What Keith is drinking now.
OLD MEDLEY: I love this bourbon, as a lot of you now know this baby is so smooth and long.
RON ATLANTICO: I have nothing but great things to say about this rum! Buy one now and enjoy every ounce.
FORD’S GIN: This makes both a good gin and tonic and a good martini. It is from the distiller who makes Plymouth.
Q GINGER BEER: I am really enjoying this. Not quitting on Fever Tree just really enjoying this at the moment.
BALLAST POINT GRAPEFRUIT SCULPIN IN A CAN: I will be having another one of these really soon!!!
Castello Di Amo Chianti: What an amazing wine! Everything you love about a good Chianti, bright red cherry, dry, long, and complex. Love it!
