Mother’s Day is tomorrow and there is no better beverage for celebrating the perfect brunch than the mimosa. Our wine manager, Martha, (a mother herself) gave us her favorite picks for the perfect mimosa. “The first thing you need is excellent, freshly squeezed orange juice,” she said, adding, “the best juice is the perfect base for the mimosa.”
Martha suggests, “For mimosas we like the real bubbly style of prosecco, rather than the fizzy style. The reason is that the addition of orange juice will dilute the sparkle, so you need a more aggressive bubble.”
