You may have seen a new face around the beer department and if you were lucky enough to meet our new beer manager, Summer Blaylock, you likely quickly realized that this woman knows her beer. With a background in restaurant and bar management, Summer brings a wealth of knowledge and plenty of spark to our beer department.
We caught up with Summer to ask her a little bit more about herself! Summer currently lives in Charlotte and is a huge fan of being outdoors and loves beer festivals. She said, “I love being outside. - Give one crazy fact about yourself. Just One?…. I once wore a crown, a gown and was on top of a float with a chicken. Swear!
- What are your favorite beers? I love everything about beer. I have many favorites. Sinebrychoff Porter out of Finland, Duchesse De Bourgogne Flanders Red Ale out of Belgium, No Da Hop Drop and Roll IPA cause its local and awesome, Gose Sour cause it’s the best new beer I’ve tried this year and local!
